Where do we get aluminum?
Strange as it seems, One- twelfth of the earth's crust is aluminum…almost twice as much as iron, the second most plentiful metal. Yet aluminum is never found free in nature like gold or silver. It is always combined chemically with other elements which make it extremely difficult to obtain metallic aluminum.

1852 about 150 years ago… aluminum was so costly to produce that it sold for $545.00 per pound and was more precious than gold or silver.

ALUMINUM- plasma arc welding or flame cutting causes ozone and oxides of nitrogen. Exposure causes: mucous membrane irritation, pulmonary irritation, congestion, edema, & death. Also causes the formation of methemglobin and subsequent action on the central nervous system.
